Generate test cases

A test case is a pair of steps and expected results. This is what gets run.

Generating them

Choose Generate test cases at the bottom right of the specification screen.

The result appears in the Recordings and test cases tab of the test plan.

You can also generate from the recording list. Rows that have a specification and no test cases show Generate test cases.

The result

Each test case has a title, steps and expected results. One specification can produce several test cases.

Adding by hand

Use Add test case to add one yourself without a recording.
