Accounts
Section titled “Accounts”Can one account belong to several organisations?
No. To join another organisation, create an account with a different email address.

Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen.
Recording
Section titled “Recording”Which recording method should I use?
The recording browser for sites reachable from the internet, Autest Recorder for sites only visible internally. See Ways to record.
How much should one recording cover?
One continuous set of steps, such as signing in through checking out. Combining several scenarios means only some test cases get created.
Can I record again?
Yes. Choose New recording. You can delete recordings you do not need.
Can I record a site that needs a sign-in?
Yes. Sign in during the recording, using a dummy account.
Specifications and test cases
Section titled “Specifications and test cases”The specification is not what I expected.
Choose Regenerate. If that does not help, the recording may not contain enough. Record again with what you want to check visible on screen.
Can I edit the specification by hand?
You can restore an earlier version from the history. Editing the content directly is being added.
Can I add test cases by hand?
Yes. Use Add test case, or import a CSV.
Running
Section titled “Running”I got an environment error.
The problem was in the run itself, not your test. Wait a moment and run it again.
Can I close the screen while a run is going?
Yes. The run continues. Results are in the History tab.
Is what I type stored?
The contents of the screens you record and what you type are stored and used to generate the specification and test cases. Do not enter real personal information.
Can I export my test cases?
Yes. Use Export all (ZIP).
